UPDATE ON HEAT IN THE LIBRARY

Our director has been busy all weekend working on a solution to our current heating issues and we are hoping that we will be able to get back to business as usual soon.  We will NOT be able to open to the public until we have resolved the problem, at least temporarily, but we are on our way to doing that.  We still need your support in voting for the energy project on Tuesday at Town Hall.  The Town meeting will be held at 7:30 pm.  This vote will ensure a long term solution to providing an energy  efficient library for our community, which will include a new boiler.  In the meantime, we will try our best to provide services.

(1)  You will NOT be fined for items that come due during this period.  Everything in the book drop will be back-dated to Friday.

(2)  If you need to renew an item, please go to our online catalog at http://lci-mt.iii.com/iii/encore, click LOGIN at the upper right of the white area, and sign in with your last name and library card.  You can renew your materials, pay your fines, and place holds when you are logged in.  If you have trouble renewing, please contact epearce@libraryconnection.info with your name and the titles you wish to renew and we will get back to you as soon as we are able to renew them.  If renewal is not possible we will let you know and you will not be charged overdue fines as long as you return the materials as soon as we open.

(3)  You may leave messages on the phone, but we will not be able to contact you until we have regular access to the library.

(4) We will extend the pick-up time for all holds, so don't worry if you can't pick them up even if you receive email notification that they are available.

(5)  We may need to cancel our programs this week.  Please keep an eye on Facebook or email me with questions.  Monday programs are definitely cancelled!

Thank you so much for your patience and support!
