Effective immediately, when Windsor Locks Public Library items are renewed the new due dates will be based on the original due date instead of the date the item is renewed. You will not be able to renew during the first 2/3 of the check-out period. You may have thought that this was already the case, but in the past all renewed items were due one or three weeks after the renewal date!
To state it simply, if you renew a 3-week item, you will get an additional full 3 weeks after the original due date. If you renew a one-week item, you will get an additional full week. Please ask our staff if you have questions.
